NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY phase 2

“April’s Ocean Showers”,  Scrapbooking Retreat 2013

Thursday evening -Sunday,  April 18-21, 2013 at The Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine.

FEATURES: This special April Crop is a NEW 2013 event featuring the newly released National Scrapbook Day exclusive gifts  that will be different than the March 8-10 retreat. You will also have 16 extra cropping hours – The scrapbooking room will be open day and night for your cropping convenience!  Enjoy your breakfast overlooking the ocean in one of the several lounges featuring Maine Post and Beam architecture; Take a brisk morning walk to the Lighthouse on the Breakwater for a 1 mile walk each way and fill your lungs will the wonderful smell of Ocean air.  Or, sleep in as you bask in the comfy Down covers of your Ocean View room.  OR, Scrapbook day and night.  This is YOUR Retreat, make it what you want it to be.  We will have special Breakout learning sessions that will feature a product/project with  ideas on how to use it, a Make-n-Take and a drawing for that particular item…  YES!  Every breakout will include GIFTS!  Some breakouts will be 5 minutes, others 30 minutes.  You will always go back to your table with something new to take home.  Some Breakouts will be repeated two days; We will have  Drawings for albums, Shape Makers, cri-cut, Display Frame, and more.

Attend both March and April National Scrapbook Day events, and 1) get a TON of pictures into albums; 2) pay for both with the ‘two-crop’ special: a $15 product certificate for EACH event , 3)Relax by staying up till all hours of the night and ‘chillin’ with friends… or relax by sleeping a lot and making several Fast2Fabulous albums and going home with completed albums either way!

CROPTOBERFEST 2013

If you are planning events for the year 2013, don’t forget to add in the possibility of Croptoberfest 2013 again.  The Hampton Inn, Freeport has been our former location but they have sold their event center so I am currently looking for a new place.  Stay tuned and I’ll post it here when I have more information.

NATIONAL SCRAPBOOK DAY 

Scrapbooking Retreat 2013

Friday-Sunday, March 14-16 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Freeport Maine.

FEATURES: We will start on Friday morning at 9:00 and go until Sunday at 6pm. The scrapbooking room will be open day and night for your cropping convenience and fun. Please grab your friends and join us for a great weekend away scrapbooking. Or, make new friends while you are here!  This week end is made for YOU.  There will be breakout learning sessions throughout the week end – they are very fun, informative and also optional.  Scrapbook the entire time, or learn new techniques and experience all the fun we’ve planned for you.  Drawings, surprises, daily gifts and much more.  The cropping room has plenty of windows and, should this retreat fall on a Snowy day, you can watch the snowflakes lazily fall while you are cozily scrapbooking!  It’s a very peaceful, cozy feeling.
Cost is 35.00 for one day, 60.00 for two days and 75.00 for three days of pure Scrapbooking JOY.

Room rental prices are 125.00 for single, 145.00 for two, 165.00 for three and 185.00 for four; this package includes breakfast and lunch for the next day.     The Hilton Garden Inn is Located at 5 Park Street in Freeport, Maine. Luv-2-Crop a lot mini-retreat: Sunday February 16. 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Lanita’s home on 73 Molyneaux Rd. Camden, Maine. FEATURES: 2 meals: homemade Cinnamon Rolls and fruit +; Full Authentic Mexican Dinner with homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies; Goodie bag, 2 projects with ingredients provided, cropping time, and a relaxed atmosphere. MOPS Crop: annual fundraising Crop Saturday night, January 19 till Sunday, January 20. This event starts at 5 p.m. Saturday and ends Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Brunswick Seventh-Day Adventist Church in “The Great Room” conference room.

This beautiful, sunny well-lit area has plenty of “cropping and spreading out” room; Each cropper can have their own table; Kitchen and bathroom close by; Located at 333 Main St. Brunswick, Maine, right next to Parkview Hospital.

FEATURES: 4 meals and snacks; 5 optional learning sessions including: Title pages; Pocket pages; What to do with your old Christmas cards;  Bordermaking (make some borders, I provide the supplies); Cards for all occasions; I will provide the supplies for most of the learning breakout sessions.  By making these new quick ideas,  your pictures will be more fun to work with, (and…. less time to put an album together!);  What else?  Ahhh!  A Goodie bag; Ideas and more ideas to copy from; A full line of scrapbook supplies for your shopping convenience; Food, really GOOD food….  being around friends and fellow scrapbookers, gleaning ideas from others….  and TIME to crop, of course!
