Make-a-Wish Maine impacts SO many lives every year by granting wishes of children  diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition in the United States and its territories.  Every 38 minutes Make-A-Wish® grants the wish of a child  and every five days, it is the wish of a Maine child. Make-a-Wish believes that a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides them in everything they do. It inspires them to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids they serve.

A popular Wish is to experience the Magic at DisneyWorld, and the families always come back with lots of pictures of this memorable event.  For over 7 years a group of ladies have made scrapbook pages that are personalized to the Disney theme and then I put them into albums that will be given to Wish recipients.

I am humbled and amazed at the enthusiasm with which these ladies take from their supplies and their time to create beautiful pages – and they verbalize EXCITEMENT about being able to make a difference and help! In October of 2013, as I collected 55 pages at my Croptoberfest event where everyone made at least ONE page, I felt an overwhelming desire to make sure EVERY wish granted in Maine would have a photo album to celebrate the memories created during their Wish trip.  And I wanted to make sure every album had at least 30 pages.

In November a whole new line of Ahni and Zoe photo albums came out that have pre-printed pages.  Here was my answer!  As we put the Disney pages that were made by all my scrapbooking friends  into albums, we were also able to utilize the pre-printed pages and in this way make DOUBLE the albums we would have been able to make with the ‘old Creative Memories way’!

New Year’s Eve, 2013 – in great EXCITEMENT we filled 9 albums with some Disney theme pages which worked nicely with the pre-decorated pages that come in the album already.  And they were all put together in 3 hours.  We can’t wait to get them to Make-a-Wish Maine and into Wish Bags!

Perhaps you have been a recipient of a photo album and you feel like you don’t know what to do next; or you have pictures that you want to share with those you love by putting them into a photo album.  I can help with that and make it simple an do-able for you!

And if any of you out there want to help with this project, feel free to contact me – it’s really a ton of fun.  DSC01374-6815(rev 0) DSC01387-6828(rev 0) DSC01388 DSC01389-6830(rev 0) DSC01392-6833(rev 0) DSC01393-6834(rev 0) DSC01394(rev 0) DSC01395(rev 0) DSC01397-6836(rev 0)
